Valentine’s Day often invites us to think about love in relation to others. But for me, love has always started somewhere quieter — with care, intention, and the small rituals we create for ourselves.
This is the place where the Self-Love Ritual Kit was born.
Not as a seasonal trend, and not as a one-day celebration, but as an invitation to return to yourself — inspired by Valentine’s Day, yet meaningful any day of the year.
Why Self-Love Needs Ritual, Not Perfection
Self-love isn’t about doing more. It’s about slowing down enough to feel.
Through tea, herbs, warm water, and candlelight, we give our nervous system permission to soften. Rituals create containers — moments where we don’t have to rush, fix, or perform.
This Valentine’s season reminded me that love doesn’t need grand gestures.Sometimes, it needs a warm bath, a cup of tea, and a moment of presence.
Choosing the Blends: Intention Comes First
Every tea in the Self-Love Ritual Kit was chosen not only for its flavor, but for the intention it carries. When I blend tea, I don’t think only in terms of ingredients — I think in terms of how someone might feel while drinking it.
✨ The Empress
Empress is grounding, steady, and supportive. It represents inner strength — the kind that doesn’t need to prove itself. This blend was chosen to remind you of your own quiet power and the comfort of being held by yourself.
🌹 Rose Sensation
Rose Sensation is a black tea blended with rose petals, created for the heart.Rose has long been a symbol of love, tenderness, and openness. In this ritual, it’s not about romantic love directed outward — it’s about warmth and gentleness directed inward.
🦋 Jasmine Butterfly (Butterfly Pea Flower & Jasmine)
This blend brings lightness and subtle magic into the ritual. Butterfly pea flower has a visual beauty that feels almost ceremonial, while jasmine adds softness and romance. Together, they invite a sense of curiosity, grace, and gentle transformation.
Each tea becomes a different doorway into care — one steady, one heart-centered, one light and reflective.
Tea Beyond the Cup: Bath Rituals for Deeper Care
Tea doesn’t always have to be sipped.Sometimes, it’s meant to be steeped into the evening itself.
For this kit, I created herbal bath tea sachets — muslin bags filled with botanicals and petals — designed to be placed directly into warm bath water. As the herbs steep, the bath becomes a sensory ritual: aroma, warmth, texture, and stillness.
Alongside the bath tea, I included a herbal bath salt blend. The salts add grounding weight to the water, while herbs and flowers create a nurturing atmosphere — turning a simple bath into a moment of intentional rest.
This is self-care that doesn’t rush you. It asks you to stay.
Candlelight and Intention: Hand-Rolled, Not Perfect
One of the most personal elements of the Self-Love Ritual Kit is the hand-rolled candle.
Instead of including a finished candle, I chose to include natural wax and a wick — inviting you to roll your own candle by hand. There’s something deeply grounding about creating light with your own hands.
This isn’t about crafting something perfect. It’s about intention.
As you roll the candle, you’re asked to slow down, set a thought, and choose presence. When you light it later, it becomes a reminder of that moment.
A Valentine’s Day Self-Love Gift — and an Everyday Ritual
While this ritual was inspired by Valentine’s Day, it isn’t limited to it.
The Self-Love Ritual Kit makes a thoughtful Valentine’s Day self-love gift — but it’s also meant for evenings when no holiday is involved. For weekends, transitions, quiet nights, or moments when you need to come back to yourself.
This is care without urgency. Love without performance.
Returning to Yourself, One Ritual at a Time
At Catalyst Tea, I believe tea is more than a beverage. It’s a language. A pause. A way to listen. This kit is my way of sharing that belief — through blends, bath rituals, and candlelight — so that self-love becomes something you don’t just think about, but practice.
