Paint With Tea: A Cozy Creative Experience in Las Vegas Using Real Tea & Herbs


What if your next painting wasn’t made with watercolor… but with tea? At Catalyst Tea Company, we’ve always believed tea can be more than something you drink. Tea can become ritual, creativity, connection, and sometimes even a little mirror reflecting what you need in the moment.


That’s where our Paint With Tea experience began. Instead of traditional paint, guests use brewed teas and herbs to create soft botanical artwork while sipping hand-blended teas in a cozy atmosphere. Think: warm tea in your hands, gentle conversation, herbs spread across the table, and colors created naturally from plants. It’s part tea workshop, part creative experience, and part invitation to slow down.


Why paint with tea?

Tea creates surprisingly beautiful natural colors — earthy browns, golden tones, soft pinks, and warm botanical shades. Each participant brews their own tea “paint,” intentionally choosing colors and herbs before creating artwork.


During our Las Vegas tea workshop, we’ll explore herbs not only for their flavor, but also for the meanings people have associated with them throughout history and traditional practices.

For example:

🌹 Rose → often connected with love, softness, and opening the heart

🌿 Lavender → linked with calm, rest, and creating peaceful rituals

🌱 Chamomile → associated with comfort and relaxation

🍃 Mint → freshness, clarity, and renewal


We’ll talk about these qualities as inspiration — while creating our own intentional tea blends and artwork.

This isn’t about being “good at art.”

You don’t need experience.

You don’t need to know how to paint.

You simply arrive, sip tea, brew your colors, experiment, and create something that feels like yours.
